Love from Levi Foundation partners with Iowa student organization

The University of Iowa Child Life Student Association and their faculty advisor, Emily Mozena, collaborated the Love from Levi Foundation to support their efforts in creating books for children in the hospital or with chronic illnesses. The books are then sent to children all over the world to enjoy. The effort allowed them to create 536 book pages for the Foundation!

Anna Stanhewicz, University of Iowa associate professor in the Department of Health, Sport, and Human Physiology, has been awarded the prestigious 2026 Henry Pickering Bowditch Award, a national award for excellence as an early career scholar from the American Physiological Society.
