UIRSM turned its summer practicums virtual during COVID-19, letting students gain remote experience and complete fieldwork despite canceled in-person sessions.

As Leisure Studies departments at universities around the world have evolved, so has Dr. Benjamin Hunnicutt and his interests. The byproduct of Dr. Hunnicutt’s professional transformation is his recently published book, "The Age of Experiences; Harnessing Happiness to Build a New Economy."
