The Health Sciences Academic Building (HSAB) includes a variety of shared spaces designed for learning, collaboration, and community. 

Open lobby areas are available on every floor, and the second floor features a vending area, University Classroom Reservation (UCR) classrooms, reservable conference rooms, work commons, and individual Zoom rooms. These spaces are shared by students, faculty, staff, and visitors from Health and Human Physiology (HSHP), Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation Science (PTRS), Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD), and the broader University of Iowa community.

To help maintain a welcoming and productive environment, please be respectful of others, clean up after yourself, promptly report spills or maintenance concerns, and leave spaces ready for the next user. Be mindful that sound travels easily throughout the building, especially in open areas, and keep noise levels at a considerate volume. By being good stewards of our shared spaces, we help ensure HSAB remains a clean, safe, and collaborative environment for everyone.
