Add a Certificate in Event Management

In the professional world of health, wellness, and fitness, you may be called upon to plan events such as group recreational activities, health promotion seminars or presentations, athletic tryouts and competitions, community fitness sessions, and other health-related endeavors.

The Department of Health, Sport, and Human Physiology offers an outstanding way for you to learn the skills associated with successful event planning: the Certificate in Event Management.

Having this certificate on your resume will signal to employers that you have the skills to create meaningful and effective events that promote health, wellness, and fitness.

The Certificate in Event Management is offered jointly by three units of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences--the Department of Health, Sport, and Human Physiology, School of Journalism and Mass Communication, and Department of Communication Studies--as well as the Department of Marketing in the Tippie College of Business.
