Therapeutic Recreation students partner with the City of North Liberty Recreation Department

Students in the Therapeutic Recreation Assessment and Evaluation class worked with the City of North Liberty Recreation Department to plan and administer a questionnaire to gather information about the community's interest and access needed for adaptive and inclusive recreation programs. Then, students helped host a successful Campus to Community event highlighting accessible activities and opportunities for participation at the city's recreation center.

Love from Levi Foundation partners with Iowa student organization

The University of Iowa Child Life Student Association and their faculty advisor, Emily Mozena, collaborated the Love from Levi Foundation to support their efforts in creating books for children in the hospital or with chronic illnesses. The books are then sent to children all over the world to enjoy. The effort allowed them to create 536 book pages for the Foundation!
